cactus flowers!

My 3rd grade teacher gave me this cactus in 1995 when it was just a little baby cactus. My mother has kept it alive all of this time, and it is thriving. A few years ago it grew one flower, and now, every year it grows an additional flower, some years multiple flowers. The flowers open at night and die within a few days. They are gorgeous while they are alive. Here are some pictures to enjoy!
